this was amazingly usefull and i really loved the way you explained everything.
it would be really nice if you could explain that thing about the large aperture hehe i am a makeup artist(beginer) and i want to take pictures of all the looks that i do so it would be nice to not just take pictures randomly but actually make the as good as they can look i have a nikon coolpix L100 can i do that long aperture with it? and how hehehe hope you have some tips for me

You should take your shoes and socks off Dude. And roll your trousers up. That’s what I’d do…. my “tip” as it were. That way you don’t get wet shoes and socks.
