You are on the other side of the world somewhere and you call me a poser when you’ve never seen my face, or know who I am or is my friend. You can consider me a non-goth, but I do. And if you’re such a gothic person, then you should know that many peole nowadays wear dark makeup on the outside but they’re not gothic at all.

The model looked like she wanted to die. And hey, I don’t wear such makeups and yet I’m a goth inside, although not outside. I hid my dark self behind my smiley self. My friends don’t know who I really am, and that’s gothic enough. “I’m running from the darkness but it just claim me…”, that kind of thing, you know?

i understand what you mean by the whole goth generalization, but makeup trends are basically stereotypes, well, “looks”.
hmm i don’t like wearing plain black crap on my lips. or for that matter even blood red. I like colors and sparkles…..one thing that annoys me beyond all else is how she keeps saying “for the goth look”…it’s arrogant and narrow-minded in my opinion. she did a HORRIBLE job on her makeup..gothic make up is supposed to make a woman look FLAWLESS and beautiful…and that’s the opposite of what the model ended up looking like…
